工作职责: Purpose of the Position 1. Lead product innovation project in collaboration with R&D team and other key stake holders to attract Chinese consumer with disruptive innovation, and with agility based on the brand local strategy 2. Provide Deep Chinese consumer and market insight for specific category 3. Support the Facilitation of regional brand and global function
Key Responsibilities ◆ Based on brand strategy and positioning, create product concept and validate through market and consumer research. 1. Conduct analysis of beauty market and target consumers to define relevant trends to brand strategy 2. Define product position based on brand strategic direction 3. Build product concept according to consumer insight and brand positioning, and formulate recommendations including price range, category and channel introduction. 4. Cost and schedule management.
◆ Based on the product concept, lead definition of product specification (contents, package, COG) in collaboration with R&D, creative and procurement department. 1. Apply state-of-art beauty research and technology from in-house and external partners to new product development, building advantages and differentiation through relevant selling points 2. Develop proper product packaging design and spec with creative, R&D and procurement team, and validate through consumer research. 3. Confirmation of relevant pharmaceutical matters, laws, regulations and trademark rights protection
◆ Develop product technical/communicational information to brand team in collaboration with R&D. 1. Develop product information and product usage testimonial planning. 2. Skin theory and beauty method development with R&D team.
◆ Support market and specific category research in collaboration with CMI and R&D, and share with both global and local brand team to contribute to long-term innovation strategy. 1. Conduct various market and consumer research plans with CMI, building up comprehensive understanding of both consumers and competitors 2. Deep dive into target consumers behavior and insight, and define development direction of technology/seeds in specific category with R&D to cope with future trend 任职资格: Qualification, Education, Experiences etc. 1. At least 3 years of working experience in product development of cosmetics skincare brands, being familiar with product process, ingredients, packaging material and others. Experience in marketing is preferred. 2. Bachelor degree or above, fluent in English or Japanese for business communication.
Competency 1. Strong capability in product conception, planning and execution, and good data analysis ability 2. Strong project management skill and collaborative attitude that can involve many in/external stake holders. 3. Familiar with beauty product trend and technology, good at collecting information of cosmetics industry and be responsive. 4. Good understanding of marketing.
