Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. The Role in Brief
The purpose of QIMA’s Operations team is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work we do is performed to the QIMA standard of quality.62
Key Responsibilities include:
- Schedule and coordinate daily tests and personnel in the chemistry lab. - Ensure research projects and experiments are conducted timely according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deliver accurate data. - Adhere to the company's quality management system requirements and assist with internal and external audits. - Provide technical support and develop new testing methods. - Offer internal technical training to enhance the overall capabilities of laboratory personnel. - Review and verify test data and reports. - Manage testing equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure the laboratory environment is up to standards.
Profile Requirements
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - More than 5 years’ experience in personnel management. - Good command of written and oral English. - Familiar with test instrument operation, familiar with laboratory quality management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities. - Humble, enthusiastic and rigorous, with a taste for the field. - Previous exposure to using AI at work or a strong personal acquaintance with AI products
