61 Engineering work for product development and maintenance. Include but not limited to
1. Engineering change process
2. Fan & pumps selection
3. Piping design
4. Bearing selection and bearing life calculation
5. Power transmission system design and engineering – belt drive and gear drive
6. Motor and drive selection and application
7. Create control logic/specs, work with control teams to develop the right controller/sensors for the product.
8. Sound test and sound model establishment
9. Document maintenance sharing – Engineering master data file, technical resource, etc.
61 Execute the test and maintain and analyse test data.
61 Create test reports, make presentations to multi-functional levels. Communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
61 Facilitate product certification works (CTI, CQC, FM, OSHPD, SSC, UL, etc.), preparing relative engineering data for submission and retaining documentation.
61 Trouble shooting for warranty cases.
61 Provide technical support for Marketing, Application, Manufacturing and Field Service.
61 Need travel periodically to BAC manufacturing facilities during prototype build and product test.
61 Occasionally travel to customer job sites to support warranty for trouble shooting.
Knowledge & Skills
61 Knowledge of material mechanics and structural mechanics.
61 Knowledge of mechanical drive components (Belt drive system, gear drive system).
61 Knowledge of fluid machines such as fan/pump
61 Knowledge of electrical and control
61 Evaporative cooling products experience is preferred
61 Hands on experience in product assembly and measurement instrument is preferred, such as power meter, sound meter, vibration meter, flowrate meter, etc.
61 Fluid dynamics / aerodynamics/heat transfer knowledge or working experience is a plus
61 Sound knowledge and experience is a plus
61 Vibration analysis (Modal analysis/Hormonic study) is a plus
61 CAE/FEA knowledge and experience is a plus
61 Good English communication both in written and oral, could independently facilitate conference calls with global colleagues.
