This role is responsible for stores’ commercial performance by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability, act like a business owner being the main link between the store teams and the corporate teams. Focus will be on flawless execution of the customer experience. This position is responsible for execution of high business standard and strategies developed by the Brand, propose and implement retail strategies within the China market. Orchestrate monthly operational retail activation within accounts.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Sales Leadership: Establishes and oversees sales objectives, adapting strategies to market dynamics, and ensuring effective execution of the brand's vision to boost sell-out performance. - Retailer Partnership Management: Collaborates closely with Brand Managers on distribution plans and fosters strong relationships with key retailers. Coordinates cross-functionally with Marketing, Trade Marketing, PR, and Digital teams to devise integrated strategies tailored for each retailer, negotiating deals to enhance business outcomes. - People Empowerment: Cultivates an inspired workforce by motivating, developing, and coaching Regional Business and Area Managers. Oversees the retail team, focusing on reducing turnover and fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability among Beauty Advisors (BA) and Store Managers. - Performance Monitoring: Tracks critical metrics such as field turnover, financial direct contribution, sales turnover, productivity, brand-specific KPIs, and P&L outcomes to measure success and inform strategic adjustments.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business management field, with around 7 years of prestige consumer, beauty, fragrance and/or skincare sales and management experience with a strong understanding of KPI’s and multi-unit management. - Passionate with niche fragrance category, able to convey this passion to the team and the clients. - Empathetic, positive, result-oriented and with an entrepreneurial spirit with leadership capabilities, to develop the business. - Team player and strong listener, in addition to knowledge of how to recruit and build a high-performing and collaborative team. Effective communication skills required. - Attention to details and be able to manage time efficiently with good project management ability. - Resourceful and strong analytic skills for proactive problem solving and for improving the store management on a continuous basis. - Availability must meet the needs of the business. - Fluent in both English and Chinese.
