JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 61 Maintain and develop the relationship with our key partners (shipping lines) 61 Determine allocation per route, shipping line, trade, accounts 61 Work on the buying strategy with overall volumes 61 Develop the VID schemes with our key partners and achieve the results 61 Co-ordinate on the sea freight tenders 61 Provide competitive buying rates to existing and potential businesses. 61 Forecast the needs in low and peak seasons 61 Management of the procurement team and / or coordination with each Cardinal office in Mainland China 61 Report to Commercial Director (based in Hong Kong) REQUIREMENTS 61 Degree holder in Business Administration / Logistics / Supply Chain or related disciplines. 61 Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding in procurement and trade lane management. 61 With strong knowledge of the ocean freight industry, including procurement and capacity management knowledge for ocean freight. 61 Excellent network with carriers at local and top managerial level. 61 Expertise in specific trade lanes: Europe, Transpacific, Australia, Latin America, Middle East 61 Strong operation understanding and capability to manage changes and unexpected events. 61 With an international mindset and exhibits great cross-cultural sensitivity. 61 Strong operation understanding and capability to manage changes and unexpected events. 61 Proficient user in MS Office especially in MS Excel. 61 Teamworking and hands on attitude are necessary 61 High proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
