Responsibilities: 1. Implement and maintain the processes to handle daily Operations as necessary to ensure timely movement of products from origin to destination. 2. Monitor, measure, and report on International transportation and clearance spend. 3. Closely connected and effectively interact with various internal teams, like sales, marketing, customer service, sourcing and external stakeholders like Customs, local authorities, freight forwarders and shipping lines. 4. Communicate and follow up with customs brokers and integrators to ensure customs clearance. Monitor forwarder’s performance and initiate the improvement of imp/exp process to meet GBU/corporates requirement. 5. Establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals of the department in order to promote cost-effectiveness and working efficiency. 6. Follow corporate trade compliance policy & guideline of import/export activities. 7. Ensure storage safety, product safety and hygiene and transportation requirements as per corporate and product guidelines. 8. Other assigned objectives of cost saving or driving the improvement of logistic performance.
Requirements: 1. Proficient level in Japanese and workable level in English. 2.University degree (BA/BSc.) in Economics, Engineering, Management and Transportation/Logistics/supply chain. 3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a combination of import /export of DG logistics management & import licenses;prefer to have working background in multinational companies and cross-countries teams. 4.
