The Opportunity:
TCS is looking for Business Analyst to work on application development, Enhancement, and upgrade activities of Global business application in manufacturing space. These Business Analyst will be working as a part of global team and report to Tower lead of the Global application development portfolio.
The Business Analyst work alongside the team within the core global business IT domain to provide strategic and quality solution utilising new and existing technologies to underpin critical business capabilities. The Business Analyst will also draw upon functional expertise within the wider business team in the tower to ensure the seamless provision of IT to drive maximum business benefit across global sites.
The role will lead IT engagement on agile driven workstreams for Global business applications (but not limited to) within the customer and will be accountable for ensuring that the need of the business is converted into IT requirements and ensuring that deliverables are aligned with the business capability/technology roadmaps. The role will also be the one of the main IT contacts for the Global business team, unblocking any IT related impediments, capturing, and managing changes/new demand and ensuring that the workstreams are following enterprise IT standards.

Knowledge of contract manufacturing domain, ADO, Story creation in ADO.
Industry/ functional/ digital knowledge.

Experience in software products / technology: business requirement analysis for products and Ux.

Main Responsibilities / Duties:
Works with the customer Global business team to identify new capability that requires IT input. Understands the needs and translates this to a set of IT requirements.
Working with the Product owner, Tower team to complete a discovery phase to get to a full impact assessment.
Works with the Global business functions to understand their business strategic & roadmap and ensures that the associated IT elements in the delivery plan is aligned.
Works with Scrum team for specific sprints ensuring resolution of functional impediments and support completion of sprint goals.
Collaborates with wider IT teams i.e. security, Software Asset Management etc to ensure that enterprise standards are adhered to in the workstreams.
Identifies and defines elements to be brought into the BAU operations and works with business and IT team to agree support model requirements.
Elicit explicit and implicit needs of stakeholders (users of the product / solution).
Facilitate communication between various functions in the organisation and drive cross-functional synergies.
Document the requirements in the form of process flows, SIPOC, Epics, User stories etc.
Plan and monitor the business analysis work, including timing plan, identifying stakeholders, selecting the right business analysis tools and techniques.
Analyse the requirements and establish the linkage to testing, KPIs.
Define non-functional requirements like performance or security as appropriate.
Provide input to technology, platform, and product roadmaps based on deep insights from global industry developments.
Help in conducting system, performance and user acceptance testing.
