OBJECTIVE To ensure consistent high standard of visual presentation reflective of the Brand image is achieved throughout the business by way of efficient team training.
POSITION PURPOSE To support and assist the Global VM Director in coordinating the visual merchandising direction to the Retail Stores & Concessions relevant to Region. To achieve an elevated level of visual merchandising, and ensure that the VM is executed consistently to meet Brand expectations. To train, inspire and develop all national retail teams to achieve sales in line with set targets through effective visual merchandising.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES VISUAL MERCHANDISING 84 To collaborate with the Global VM Director on planning and implementing strategies to achieve the highest standard of Visual Presentation in Retail stores & Concessions relevant to Region. 84 To apply industry best practice, trends & developments to plan Zimmermann visual merchandising strategies with confidence and accuracy. 84 To ensure that all seasonal guidelines are planned and executed in accordance with Zimmermann vision and expectations with consistency. 84 To travel to interstate stores to implement VM and new store openings in accordance with business needs.
SEASONAL VISUAL MERCHANDISING DIRECTION 84 To communicate the planning of seasonal visual merchandising direction to relevant Retail/Wholesale teams as directed by Global VM Director considering individual store needs in relation to adjacencies, seasonality, demographic, climate, traffic, etc. 84 To analyze sales, budgets, and ST to determine floor moves that will enhance the collection and maximise sales. 84 To liaise with Retail Buying and Planning team before every launch to ensure visual merchandising planning and allocations are aligned. 84 To create floorplans for Retail stores & Concessions relevant to Region for every new product launch. 84 To prepare launches, windows and mannequin displays in accordance to theme direction of Global VM Director and ensure an elevated, luxury window/mannequin displays for Retail stores & Concessions are relevant to Region reflective of the Brand image and seasonal vision. 84 To assist on the execution of the pilot store – in collaboration with Global VM Director and ensure seasonal directions are implemented as per Zimmermann vision and direction. 84 To monitor the visual merchandising direction and raise opportunities with Global VM Director WINDOWS 84 To plan fortnightly window displays – following theme direction of Global VM Director creating elevated, luxury window/mannequin displays for Retail stores & Concessions relevant to Region reflective of the Brand image and seasonal vision every fortnight. 84 To communicate visual merchandising direction to Retail stores via weekly VM Summary as and when directed by Global VM Director 84 To monitor success of window display direction and raise opportunities with Global VM Director
STORE & STOCK PRESENTATION 84 To assist the Global VM Director to coordinate the management of all visual display’s interior & exterior displays for Retail stores & Concessions relevant to Region. 84 To assist the Global VM Director to coordinate the management of store presentation including but not limited to; cleanliness, lighting, scent, sound, music, flowers to support Retail teams in creating a luxurious client shopping experience. 84 To train, manage and develop retail team’s knowledge of Brand image & Expectations In collaboration with Global VM Director. 84 To create guidelines on garment presentation in line with Zimmermann seasonal direction. 84 To schedule regular store visits to support & inspire Retail teams to ensure Brand expectations are met consistently. 84 To manage all signage requirements for Retail stores & Concessions relevant to Region as and when directed by Global VM Director.
STORE TEAMS TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT 84 To schedule regular store visits to implement and oversee the visual merchandising direction, store & stock presentation within stores. To offer tailored visual merchandising training targeting the specific needs of the store and manager. 84 To regularly communicate with Global VM Director, Retail and Store managers to provide feedback and together identify opportunities for further development of visual merchandising skills. 84 To assist the Global VM Director to coordinate Instore Specialist program. 84 To identify potential of the retail teams in visual merchandising during store visits and communicate to R Global VM Director. 84 To assist the Global VM Director in further development of expertise.
ADMINISTRATION 84 To assist the Regional VM Manager/s managing all VM & POS tools. Stocktaking, ordering and replenishment as and when needed. 84 To update the visual merchandising Policies and Procedures as needed 84 To assist the Regional VM Manager/s developing all written and visual content relating to visual merchandising expectations. 84 To assist sending the weekly communication to all retail teams to include relevant visual merchandising direction, product, or delivery updates 84 To propose to Global VM Director monthly store visit schedule to support retail teams 84 To review weekly retail stores & concessions relevant to Region visual reporting to ensure adherence to visual merchandising directive, efficiency of visual merchandising direction and to adjust accordingly where appropriate. 84 To review the weekly summaries to collate feedback provided by the stores.
HEALTH AND SAFETY (OSHA/WHS) 84 To promote and always uphold the non-negotiable standards of the occupational health and safety policies and procedures. 84 To ensure any incidents related to occupational health and safety are reported to the Retail Director and HR in an appropriate and timely manner.

84 Achievement of the highest standard of Visual Presentation across Retail stores & Concessions partners relevant to Region 84 Achievement of store budgets through seasonal Visual Displays and Merchandising 84 Achievement of consistency with Visual Merchandising, Stock & Store and Presentation across Zimmermann boutiques, Outlet store and Wholesale partners. 84 Floor plans and windows are planned in accordance with Zimmermann vision and guidelines. 84 Floor plans are communicated to the stores 3-5 days prior to launch dates. 84 Windows are planned in accordance to launches and Sell Trough. 84 Window planning is communicated to the stores 24hours prior to launch. 84 Stores teams are fully supported with stock preparation and organization during the execution. 84 Store teams are fully trained in all aspects of VM, Windows and Stock Presentation. 84 No team complaints.
