Purpose of the position
— Perform a thorough review of customer’s inquiry and/or request for process design information. Lead the concept finding discussion and implement.
— Development of process- and plant concepts based on the performance requirements, interpretation- and evaluation criteria of the client as well as under consideration of standardization and cost aspects.
— Selection of the main component, increase the uniformity of the plant design and plant equipment.
— Develop innovative ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive with proposals.
— Prepare process and concept material for proposals and project execution phase, organize, and review the process concept document.
— Provide technical support to sales manager and aftersales plant modification.

Principal responsibilities
— provide information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the proposal and project teams regarding all aspects of Process Engineering
— Perform process simulations and concept design, provide Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) and process datasheets according to the work split.
— coordinate the procedure in the bidding and design phase, lead the plant process and concept design in technical part.
— develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets.
— provide technical expertise to the project execution team and assist in developing plant control philosophy.
— provide prompt assistance to discipline engineers for solving the design problems, and promptly report important tech problems to the design dept. manager.
— Instruct/lead the assistant/junior engineers to carry out design work. Check and review the work document and result.
— Be responsible for quality and schedule of one’s relating work. Could work with minimal supervision and to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
— Fulfil the temporary task assigned by the dept. and the company.
