Position Description Summary 61 Responsible and accountable for asset and maintenance management of all Control Systems and MES systems in the assigned area to ensure security, reliability and high performance of the systems, which is essential for smooth and stable plant operation. 61 Develop the maintenance and asset strategy for the Yokogawa System and the Aveva MES system and responsible for the implementation to increase the reliability of operation and the plant intelligence and digitalization. 61 Develop and maintain the special knowledge documentation of Batch process control to support the smooth production and rapidly changing product requirement. Key tasks & responsibilities 1. Develop the asset strategy of all Control Systems (DCS and SIS) and MES systems (PI, Alarm Management, Controller Performance Management etc.) in assigned area following company standards and procedures and fully comply with legal requirements. Strive for the continuous improvement and responsible for intelligent life cycle management of all PCT systems in the assigned area. 2. Lead the maintenance execution management of all Control Systems (DCS and SIS) and MES systems (PI, Alarm Management, Controller Performance Management etc.) in assigned area following maintenance procedures and fully comply with legal requirements. Proactively and timely identify system problems and hidden dangers, find the root causes, and solve them effectively. 3. Initiate and coordinate changes and lead the specification of changes for the optimization of plants and implement the changes in a safe, cost-effective way with the expected quality for automation systems. 4. Accountable for OT security related PCT functions in the area of responsibility, make sure that the design, implementation and maintenance are according to relevant corporate and national standards. 5. Responsible for the training to production personnel to increase their knowledge of automation systems and coach area plant personnel on the proper handling of PCT Systems in the area. 6. Develop the maintenance and asset strategy for the Yokogawa System and the Aveva MES system and responsible for the implementation to improve their reliable operation and ensure the safety and stability of the production, as well as the plant digitalization and intelligence. 7. Actively Develop and maintain the special knowledge documentation of Batch process control to support the smooth production, especially the fast development of batch program to meet the requirement of complex and ever-changing market demanding. Value added: 1. Ensure safe, complied, reliable and efficient maintenance of PCT automation systems, as well as continuous improvement of the PCT automation systems, in order to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve reliability and safety of plant and production processes. 2. This position is responsible for making changes to the Batch program to meet this requirement from the rapidly changing nature of products in CA, and thus fulfill the marketing demand timely. 3. This function's accountability and responsibility for PCT automation systems and production data security have direct impact on the safe and reliable operation. Work relations: Internal: 61 Within MM: Maintenance engineers, PCT central function engineers e.g., electrical engineers, system engineers, PAT engineers, reliability engineers cross the Site, Maintenance Execution, TA Management, Contractor Management 61 Outside MM: Technical Asset Management, Production teams, Site Engineering, HSEQ, Procurement, Global technical discipline/expert team External: 61 Local authority, Vendors/Suppliers, Contractors, etc. Qualifications 61 Bachelor or Master degree in instrumentation, automation engineering from university. 61 At least 3 years (Master) or 5 years (Bachelor) of working experience in relevant field. 61 Very good expertise of develop the Delta V batch program and Yokogawa batch program in Chemical industry. 61 Know-how in process technology and chemical engineering is advantageous. 61 Solid knowledge / expertise in Control Systems and MES Systems concepts / practices and very good understanding of maintenance and project management. 61 Solid knowledge in Basic Process Control System, Safety Instrumentation System, and Manufacture Execution System to improve the process control technology in the plants. 61 Good analyzing ability and solid trouble-shooting ability under stress working environment. 61 Very Good communication skills and Coordination ability and team spirit.
