General Summary: Coordinate the Compliance tasks for the China Region. Reports to APAC Legal for administrative reporting and has indirect reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer for strategic direction for the Compliance management for China. Essential Duties and responsibilities: 61 Oversee all compliance activities for the China region o Maintain company certifications including ISO, HACCP, and TAPA o Coordinate operational processes to ensure business goals and compliance directives are effectively implemented within the Government Services team; 61 Supporting for operational and administrative measures to ensure: o Working effectively toward organizational goals; o All staff follow and contribute to organizational compliance and quality programs and policies; o Effective communication is achieved at all levels of the organization; 61 Perform internal quality audits as required; o Address all non-conforming issues as they occur; o Coordinate Management Review of the Quality System; o Prepare organizations for ISO 9001: 2015 audit; o Coordinate Compliance activities with Compliance personnel in Corporate and EMEA 61 Provide guidance on Compliance issues to SEKO stations and personnel, including import compliance, export compliance, dangerous goods, vetting, health and safety, quality, and SEKO policies and procedures; includes coordinating with other SEKO stations, agents, or consultants as needed 61 Maintain China Compliance resources and documents, including the Compliance Manual and SharePoint site(s) 61 Work with the Corporate Compliance team and ensure Compliance training is properly assigned and completed in the Learning Management System 61 Manage/Coordinate the Health and Safety program in China, including guidance to China stations 61 Review vendors and agents used in China and ensure all new and current third parties are fully vetted 61 Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or management; Qualifications: 61 High level of confidentiality; 61 Ability to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; 61 Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently and develop realistic action plans; 61 Well organizational skills; 61 Good problem-solving skills; 61 Ability to multi-task; Education and /or experience: 61 At least 3 years of Compliance and/or Logistics experience; 61 An equivalent combination of education and experience; Language skills: 61 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Mandarin and English. Computer skills: 61 Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
