Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our team at a premium bar in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service, managing staff, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of beverages, and the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:
1. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
2. Manage and train bar staff, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
3. Develop and implement bar menus, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
4. Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
7. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
8. Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
10. Plan and execute special events and promotions to attract customers.
11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices.

1. Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role in a premium bar or hospitality environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Proficiency in bar management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
8. Bilingual skills (English and Chinese) are required.
