1. Responsible for stamping tooling development: tool tracking , pre-buy-off, tryout support , and trouble shooting. 2. Responsible for simulation, process, tool design review with supplier and EU col-league , follow Benteler specifications. 3. Responsible for blank line and nesting optimization when simulation and tool devel-opment . 4. Responsible for stamping parts formability simulation and feasibility study, and give modification proposal to make part design feasible. 5. Responsible for stamping parts process planning. 6. Support plant for trouble shooting when need. 7. High frequently travel to tool supplier according to project requirement. 8. Weekly report to Supervise / Europe colleague about tool status. Fluent English speaking and writing is a must. 9. Lessons learn about tool development . 10. Other work arranged by line manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Bachelor’s degree in a material forming and control discipline is a must. 2. Familiarity with software (Catia, autoform , autocad ,MS excel, MS power point.). 3. Have good knowledge on stamping material , forming process and tool 4. Be proficient in forming technology . Especially on simulation, process planning, tool de-sign. 5. Familiarity with press line equipment. 6. Familiarity with GD&T requirement. 7. Have experience on stamping tooling design, at least 3~5 years. 8. More than 8 years working experience on forming process and tool in automobile industry. 9. Good in Chinese and English, fluent English speaking and writing is a must. 10. Have professional spirit and have good team work spirit with strong problem analysis and solution ability, strong cross-department communication and coordination ability. 11. Willing to frequently travel to tool supplier according to project need. 12. Can and willing work with high pressure.
