Job Description: Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, implement, and maintain Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to optimize warehouse operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and operation team to integrate and enhance warehouse automation systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WCS, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system performance. - Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials. - Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for process improvement and automation opportunities. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all aspects of warehouse automation. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in warehouse automation and control systems.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). - Strong knowledge of warehouse automation technologies, including conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, and robotics. - Experience with WCS software platforms and integration with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret warehouse data to drive process improvements. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
