As the Director of Azure Identity Operations, you will lead our efforts in managing and optimizing Azure identity solutions for our organization. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Active Directory (AAD), identity management, and a strong understanding of related technologies. You will collaborate closely with other workstreams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Azure identity operations aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Team Leadership: Lead a team of identity operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and career development. Collaboration with Workstreams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, compliance, user collaboration, and application hosting, to ensure alignment of identity management initiatives with overall business objectives. Azure Identity Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Azure identity services, including user provisioning, access management, authentication, and identity lifecycle management. Identity Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce identity governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and third-party solutions to support Azure identity operations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and security of Azure identity operations, leveraging automation and best practices. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to identity management, implementing controls and measures to protect sensitive information and systems. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates on identity operations initiatives, progress, and challenges. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and expertise in Azure identity management and related technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master or above's degree preferred. 10 years plus of experience in Azure identity management, with a deep understanding of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD B2C, and related technologies. Experience managing identities for large organizations, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable identity solutions. Strong knowledge of identity governance principles, access control, and security best practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
