Waste2Wear is a fast-growing, environmentally innovative Canadian company with a focus on sustainable textile products. We produce fabrics and textile products from recycled plastics (rPET & rPP) since 2008.

We are seeking a Product Developer and Production Support in Shanghai.

Requirements
- Educational background in textiles.
- Worked in a textile company for a minimum of 5 years and experience at managerial level.
- Technical knowledge of sewing processes and patterns.
- Technical knowledge of textiles and cmt
- Knowledge of bag products is preferred.
- Deep understanding of the Asian Culture
- Strong supplier management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Out of the box creative thinker with strong problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and organizational prowess
- Fluent in written and spoken English , proficient in Chinese
- Willing and able to travel inland and overseas on regular bases
- Open to changes and passionate about new developments in fabrics, materials, fibers, passionate about sustainability.

- Responsibilities
- Product development for the different customers for bags, clothes and accessories
- Good in delegating responsibilities and deploying various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities
- Evaluating performance and productivity of mills & suppliers and making forward planning to build a resilient supply chain
- Researching and identifying growth opportunities. Overseeing market trends and create initiatives to develop commercial products.
