This role supports the Supply Chain Management function for a client account in China. This role reports directly to the Sourcing Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Client) and requires a multi-disciplined experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM), to support multiple initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs. Responsibility also extends to support procurement governance, vendor management and deliver contract / procurement strategies to achieve long term client benefits. This role requires experience in procurement and or Facility Management to support the portfolio of facilities in China and may extend to surround countries. This includes engagement with local IFM teams to support and execute vendor sourcing and savings projects through effective negotiation and RFP programs.
Job Description: 1. Business partner to Senior leaders 2. Provide support to strategic sourcing direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple IFM disciplines. 3. To provide support to vendor management in the form of quarterly business reviews. 4. Assist in the process of developing vendor management strategy and strategic sourcing activity. 5. Support the RFP, pricing and negotiation process for the client on behalf of JLL 6. Provide account support in managing the Jones Lang LaSalle ERP Procurement Module. This includes system training, vendor performance management, and providing regular reporting to client account teams. 7. Assist in developing and communicating the IFM and strategic sourcing vision to the client, JLL, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners. 8. Supports the strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities.
Job Requirement: 1. Business / Commerce Degree with at least 1-3 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiation. 2. Relevant work experience in IFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management will be highly regarded. 3. Practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management and capable of changing them to meet new and evolving needs will be highly regarded. 4. Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management. 5. Execution of vendor contracts between the company and the vendor, drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving.
