Responsibilities
1.Designing, planning and implementation of new Database Servers, including Oracle, MS SQL Server.
2.Develop and maintain automation scripts for daily operations, including database level backup and restore.
3.Implement monitoring solutions for databases.
4.Operate databases ensuring that systems are running optimally ensuring availability, efficiency, and recoverability.
5.Work with the oversea DBA team to ensure the security and privacy policy and daily DB operations follows best practices for all applications database managed.
6.Troubleshoot database related issues, support incidents and changes.
7.Perform Root Cause Analysis for incidents & provide remediation plan to functional teams.
8.Perform database migrations to new systems and new software releases, and from IDC to Cloud environment.
9.Work with multiple database servers and complex database environments, including MySQL, PostgreSQL
10.Acts as an expert technical resource to development team in all phases of the development and implementation process.
Requirements
1.Understanding of database design, installation and configuration, database monitoring tools and disaster recovery solutions
2.Expertise in managing Oracle 12c,19c on Unix platforms and MS SQL Server on Windows
3.Familiar with Oracle management tools like SQL Developer, or OEM, or Toad etc.
4.Familiar with SQL Server tools like Configuration Manager
5.Expertise in Database backup and restore utilities like RMAN.
6.Experience in Restoration of high severity incidents
7.Should be able to automate programs using Shell scripting, PL/SQL
8.Should be able to troubleshoot using basic Unix commands.
9.Expertise in database performance management, tuning, mirroring, and replication
10.Expertise in Database Security
11.Be able to identify route cause for incidents & provide remediation plan to functional teams.
12.Be able to identify improvement opportunities in the env & handover to the functional teams.
13.Have experience in Ali Cloud and Azure Database Management MySQL, PostgreSQL is a plus.
14.Have experience in Data Platform related project is a plus.
15.Fluent Chinese and English Communication.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system or equivalent experience
2.Certification in OCM, OCP, MCTS, MCITP, PostgreSQL would be an advantage.
3.ITIL certified will be added advantage.
