What you'll be doing
* Provide Container & Material design support for new and existing Medical Products and Therapies. * Ensure that products developed meet both internal and external customer requirements. * Perform container & material design work and research to contribute to the design of new and existing products. * Actively participate on project teams to ensure sound industrial container & material design principles are considered and implemented. * Develop product design and study layout that generate objective evidences that the proposed product meets user preferences. * Follow product development & lifecycle management and related Baxter policies, standards, engineering techniques, tools, and methodologies. * Create and communicate project or change control plans, tasks, and outcomes, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. * Work on assignments that are mostly routine or moderately complex. What you'll bring
* Minimum Requirements: Proficient in two or more engineering areas such as film/tube extrusion, molding, sealing, and assembling plastic components.
1. Possess expertise in two or more of the following technical areas: polymer chemistry, polymer physics, polymer rheology, polymer adhesion, polymer/rubber formulation & technology, polymer coating, polymer synthesis, polymer extrusion/molding or polymer characterizations.
A solid understanding of observational research methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
1. A Green Belt certification, versed in lean principles, Six Sigma Engineer certification are additional assets.
Passionate about the medical field, eagerness to learn and to continuously improve.
1. Tasked with meeting objectives.
Demonstrated expertise in visual, written, and oral communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively in diverse team environments.
1. Proficiency in oral and written English language is mandatory.
* Preferred Requirements: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
1. Understanding of design requirements for medical devices.
Educational background in material science fields, mechanical engineering, package engineering.
