The Job holder is the DRP Planner located at the Jinshan Site.
Jinshan Site is one of the three Huntsman TPU production plants, started up in 2013. The plant is servicing the TPU globalized business with a complex product portfolio.
The Job holder has responsibilities to arrange DC inventory replenishment and stock control within APAC countries, to serve customers appropriately, as well as to propose logistics solutions with efficient and cost effectiveness way for stock movements among three regions and DCs.
1. Principal Accountabilities:
61 Control inventory for DCs within APAC, including the stocks imported from other regions and among APAC countries, regularly scatter and highlight inventory reports to internal customers.
61 Coordinate for inventory replenishment plan with production planner, customer service team and sales teams.
61 Place inter-company purchase orders on finish goods for China DCs and on raw materials for JS site.
61 Responsible for Import/Export operations, among other countries and DCs
61 Monitor Supply Strategy implementation and report the exceptions.
61 Work with customer service teams to meet global OTIF target.
61 Investigate for complaints from customers and other internal stakeholders.
61 Responsible for logistics vendor billings validation and review before submitting payment applications in system.
61 Manage logistics suppliers to ensure deliveries timely and safely, appraise their key performance each month and organize the meetings for service improvements.
61 Participate and/or manage projects to streamline and optimize logistics processes.
61 Responsible for all local and international shipping and transportation compliance to regulations.
61 To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by line manager.
The job holder will ensure that all activities on his or her role are being carried out according to the relevant EHS rules and that documentation is being kept according to the legal and DIN/ISO 9001 record retention requirements.
2. Special Features
The candidate for the position must possess strong trouble shooting skills and the ability to manage time and prioritize plans for multi-task.
61 Bachelor degree is necessary.
61 5-year plus of working experience in the multi-national company with proficiency in shipment arrangement, Import/Export execution, inventory control and logistics suppliers’ management, ideally in Chemical industry
61 Interpersonal and communication skills are critical to interact with internal clients and external vendors.
61 Rich experience in SAP and ERP system operations is a significant advantage.
61 Good skills in Microsoft office practice.
61 The incumbent must be fluent in English (verbal and written) with a preference for the similar skills in Mandarin.
