Main accountabilities and tasks 1. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Foster cooperation and collaboration and provide leadership and direction to the teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to work effectively, considering applicable directives, standards and ESH principles and regulations.
2. Cross-Functional and Cross-Region Interaction: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams. Work closely with functional leaders to ensure project requirements and company standards are understood and met. Address any conflicts or issues between functional areas to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Project Execution and Management: Ensure all projects within the local portfolio are executed efficiently, effectively, and completed successfully, on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Project and Portfolio Planning: Lead the planning and scheduling of the local projects including inter-company orders, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and strategic planning in alignment with the functional leaders and project managers.
5. Procurement: Oversee the local procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and management of supplier relationships.
6. Production Management: Oversee daily operations of the production workshop with close cooperation with the workshop teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, production planning and resources management (workforce, tools, equipment) including maintenance management. Monitor and steer main production metrics and KPIs to ensure optimal performance. Ensure all workshop operations and production processes comply with ESH regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among workshop staff.
7. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, team members, functional leaders, senior management, and local management.
8. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of projects including the Risk Assessment and implement corrective actions as needed.
9. Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Desired experience and qualifications 1.Work experience: >5 years 2.Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): Experience in Production of metal components, especially on tube bending and welding, in Project Management, in Contract Management (Customer & Suppliers), Engineering, Quality, Risk Management, with a technical background/knowledge 3.Languages: Chinese and English, other languages are beneficial 4.Soft skills: Leadership, Communication, Problem-Solving, Decision-Making, Collaboration, Planning and Organizational.
