IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY The financial analyst will work closely with the sales team as a business partner to support new business acquisitions. The role will be responsible for profitability analysis of quotations and is also supposed to provide financial insights in order to drive business performance and influence decision making. The Financial Analyst will support sales performance analysis and assist in preparation of creating the report out to management as well.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 61 Work closely with sales team in the daily pricing process, providing business case for quotations, ensuring accuracy and reasonableness of assumptions and calculations. 61 Manage cost variances analysis among programs, deep dive cost saving opportunities to improve profitability. 61 Conduct periodical variances analysis, figure out the business stories behind the numbers as well as providing financial insights to improve business performance and forecast quality. 61 Improve quotation process efficiency by developing benchmark database and creating appropriate templates. 61 Collaborate with sales finance BI to collect sales data from account managers and assist in preparation of reports. 61 Conduct appropriate measures to improve internal control quality. 61 Proactively focus on potential improvement, and support in Kaizen activity. 61 Specified tasks & assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 61 3 years of position-related experience, FP&A /Costing experience is a plus 61 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 61 Automotive Industry 61 Savvy of financial modeling and cost analysis 61 Experience working with global budgeting or forecasting
