a. Responsibility 1. Responsible of managing direct material suppliers within scope, focusing on improving cost competitiveness and ensuring on time delivery, as well as support Gestamp advance purchasing to promote cost improvements and solutions to sustain the growth potential based on cost improvement and supplier development. 2. Focus on Raw material commodity team (Blanking / scrap / steel service) to ensure cost targets are achieved. 3. Good communication with cross function teams to win new business and ensure awarded projects into mass production. 4. Understand and follow commodity strategy, manage the supplier panel in Division for all the plants. Source identify develop string local supplier to reduce costs. 5. Supply chain support for production: coordinate and support supplier issues of payment, deliveries, quality etc. Plan and timely measure activities related to cost efficiency, quality control, planning and inventory control objectives. 6. Cooperate with R&D teams to identify strengths, cost drivers and technologies/solutions to gain competitiveness and promote them. 7. Manage and collect cost saving proposals and monitor their activities progress by monthly saving report. 8. Ensure compliance with Gestamp policies, procedures, and internal business control。 9. Regularly communicate with Corporate Commodity relevant topics as needed. Activities related but not limited to: 1) Routine RFQ for blanking from domestic/oversea suppliers. 2) Scrap price estimation, market trendy analysis and forecast. 3) Contract/Price agreement drafting & auditing. Monitoring all the frame price agreement will be. followed properly. 4) Project management - Develop potential process supplier together with Engineering, SQE, Production etc. - Manage process supplier for tryout projects, prototype delivery, quality supervision, coordination cross departments and vendor side. - Create PO and follow relative payment process. 5) Annual cost saving target in line with company target. Follow Gestamp strategy and achieve target. 6) Flexibility to travel when needed and required. b. Requirement 1. 3-5 years working experience, worked in Automobile Industry or Steel/Aluminum processing company is preferred. 2. Good communication written and oral skills in both Chinese and English, communication skills enabling to work with Global colleagues. 3. Professional behavior, good interpersonal skills, strong business sense and team player. Ability to manage conflicts, executive with sense of priorities and efficiency. 4. Full command of Excel/Databases and PPT, SAP is a plus.
