Job Summary: Under limited supervision, design and deliver training for Asia quality department. Contribute to the development, execution and maintenance of Quality training programs and initiatives to drive employee performance. Act as a lead in the Training department. Job Responsibilities: - Design and deliver general or specialized training as required. Create tailored learning plans based on functional needs for different roles, including scheduling instructor-led training, creating and assigning e-learning within an LMS, and recommending on-the-job learning opportunities. - Ensure training curriculum addresses the needs of the business and employees. Customize training programs as needed. Facilitate General or Specialized training as required. - Coordinate and facilitate the trainings. Prepare room and materials, coordinate speakers/videos, present company information and address questions. Connect new hires with needed resources and address their questions. - Schedule and coordinate the training calendar. Organize and prepare all participant workbook materials including handouts, case studies, role-plays, videos, etc. Update training examples and ensure test client (SAP) is ready before each new training session. - Enter and maintain course information in Medline systems. Distribute pre-class assignments, ensure approvals, and distribute invitations and reminders to participants. Ensure participants complete required pre and post class work and/or tests. Track and maintain employee training records. - Review training results to identify areas of opportunity and provide recommendations to enhance training programs. - Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations to improve course and program effectiveness. - Create and update training reports for employees and manager including session attendance, exam scores, and survey output. Ensure retention and understating of training materials - Perform needs analyses for new training requests, assisting in the determination of training priority and development options. - Provide coaching and feedback to in-house facilitators on effective facilitation technique and learner engagement methods. - Update and customize course materials as needed. - May represent Training department in strategic planning sessions. Acts as lead for training team
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training and Development or related field. Or a combination of education and experience. - At least 4 years of experience in Learning and Development, instructional design methodologies, and blended learning solutions. - Experience in different aspects of the ADDIE model, including training needs analysis, development, design, implementation and evaluation. - Experience using e-learning design programs and tools to develop courses to be housed in and launched from an LMS. - Experience in LMS administration - Experience collaborating with (internal resources, external resources, both) to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines. - Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes
