The role Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for designing and producing visual materials such as illustrations, posters, infographics and other relevant visuals for Marketing Communications that should not only enhance the presentation of information, but also extend brand identity and culture. The ideal candidate shall possess a strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and digital design principles.
Professional Competencies (Duties and Tasks) Visual material design and production · Daily work essentials: o PPT slide library o Survey template o Infographic template o Video meeting background o Email signature o Letterhead · Promotional materials: o Posters, illustrations, pull-up banners · Office assets: o Business cards o Envelope o Wallpaper (phone & desktop) · Dealer/Partner stationary Visual elements design and support · Digital platforms: o Apps o Websites o Online ads o Social medias · Events: o Booth setup, online content presentation, key visuals and related materials · Merchandise assortment Maintenance, Support and Operation · Maintain, manage and update all the above items · Evaluate and ensure all visuals (including photography) are consistent with the brand identity and culture Guideline & training support · Optimize visual & layout principles, create guidelines and support trainings for different use cases and platforms Research · Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Desirable experience & qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts or related fields · At least 3 years of professional design experience preferred · Fluency in Chinese and English, both verbal and written is preferred · Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) · Have experience in motion graphics and video production is preferred · Strong understanding of brand principles and the ability to apply them to visual designs · A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, works and a strong understanding of branding
