Functions as the strategic business leader of theproperty’s Sales and Marketing Department and is responsible for propertyreactive sales, proactive account sales and segment sales, local and socialcatering sales, business travel sales, reservation sales and destination sales,and Marcom. If applicable, the positionshares responsibility for achieving revenue goals, guest and employeesatisfaction and the financial performance of the department. Implement the brand’s service strategy and applicablebrand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process. Leading on-property sales functions to buildlong-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement ofproperty sales objectives. Evaluates theproperty’s participation in the various sales channels (e.g., Market Sales,Event Booking Centers, electronic lead channels, etc.) and develops strongworking relationships to maximize property’s profit. Proactively positions and markets theproperty. Manages the marketing budgetto enable development of property specific campaigns, promotions and collateralto drive revenue and meet property objectives. Interfaces with regionalmarketing communications on regional and national promotions pull through. As a member of the Executive Committee,develops and implements property–wide strategies that deliver products andservices to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s targetcustomer profile and property employees and provides a return on investment tothe owner and the company.
Education and Experience:
2-year degree from an accredited university inBusiness Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or relatedmajor; 4 years experiences in same position or role.
