Styling Engineering Interface and Project Management Leading Styling Engineering Meetings on Behalf of Styling: Acting as a bridge between styling and engineering, the Exterior SE leads styling engineering meetings to ensure effective communication between both teams. Collaborating with Engineering Department on Overall Layout: Works closely with the engineering department to ensure the exterior styling aligns with the vehicle's overall layout plan. Tracking Project Timeline Management for Styling Projects: Manages the timing milestones of styling projects to ensure they progress smoothly as planned. 2. Enhancing Design Quality Market Trend and Competitor Analysis: Provides guidance for exterior styling design based on market trends and competitor analysis, contributing to the improvement of design quality. Dimension Matching, Surface Quality, and Material Selection: Offers expert insights on dimension matching, surface quality, and material selection to ensure the exterior design is both exquisite and durable. 3. Model Evaluation and Verification Digital and Physical Model Evaluations: Leads the evaluation of digital and physical models at various styling stages, ensuring design accuracy and aesthetics. Final Verification of Production Molding Data: Validates the final production molding data related to styling to ensure the manufactured products align with the design. 4. Engineering Inputs and Training Compiling Engineering Input Requirements and Design Standards: Organizes and summarizes engineering input requirements, design standards, and quality objectives for various styling development stages, creating documentation for team reference. Team Training and Skill Enhancement: Organizes team training and skill enhancement activities to improve team members' professionalism and overall competence. Qualification and skills: Work Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of experience in automotive exterior design or related fields. Candidates with experience in OEM or deisgn firms will be more competitive. Regulatory Familiarity: Have a deep understanding of domestic and international automotive industry regulations and standards, ensuring designs comply with regulatory requirements and mitigating compliance risks. Modeling: Proficient in 3D modeling software( such as CATIA, Alias, etc.), capable of performing efficient and precise modeling and sections of body exterior components. Language: Fluent in Chinese and English, proficient in daily work.
