Job Summary The Product Marketing Specialist is to provide strategic and tactical product support focused on driving growth Vacuum portfolio completes/services business in China territory. Our vacuum portfolio completes businesses provide a broad portfolio including dry screw, claw, vane and rotary lobe, oil lube screw, vane and rotary piston, and liquid sealed vacuum products. This role will report to the Product Management and Sales Enablement Leader, Asia Pacific with responsibilities for developing, establishing and maintaining overall marketing strategies to grow business profitably and meet market needs as well as developing marketing campaigns to drive brand preference, engagement and market share.
Responsibilities 1. Sales Support: 1) Provide product technical consultancy and supports and quotaion and price management on project job basis to sales team by fully understand the product applications, customer requirements and competitive product positioning. 2) Coordinate Non-std evaluation work with cross functional team from end-to-end. 3) Connect with Engineering/factory contacts to provide technical clarifications and quotes to sales team. 4) Co-visit customer with sales and provide necessary on-site support for customer seminar/technical clarification sessions. 2. Sales Product Knowledge Enhancement: 1) Develop product training plans by assessing the sales product knowledge gaps 2) Develop training documentations and materials (product, competitive streetfighters, process, etc) and deliver the trainings to sales and sometimes to key distributors when necessary 3) Develop sales/Marketing tools & materials, e.g. calculator, ref. sheets, quote shell, EVE & positioning tools, etc. 3. Product Life Cycle Management: 1) Collect customer needs, regulations and market trends to fully understand opportunities for improvements to current products and for new products. 2) Work with Marketing Manager, Product Manager, Engineering and other cross functional team to manage product life cycle activities and ensure we deliver the right products to meet customer needs. 4. New Product Commercialization: 1) Support product launch and work with cross functional team and support Sales Enablement leader to drive sales effectiveness, adoption, and achieve new product business case targets
Key Competencies 1. Master in Vacuum/Mechanical / Engineering / Automation / Business / Math background 2. Strong data analytical capabilities - Knowledge of statistics, and its applications to analyzing data 3. Knowledgeable in Vacuum Technology Preferred 4. Customer oriented, problem solving and solution mindset. 5. Ability to work projects from start to finish – identifies opportunities and drive execution. 6. Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and inspire. 7. Strong communication skill and cross-functioonal collaboration capability; 8. Energetic, passionate, driven, and strong interpersonal skills who works well in a collaborative team environment. 9. Good oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English, communicate compelling.
