Scope of the Role: 61 Ensure product performance against target financial metrics including: Revenue, Margin, Market Share, Price Realization, Quality, Delivery, Productivity. 61 Adherence to the NPD gate review process including business case models (financial management, risk management, industry metrics - ROI). 61 Ensure effective short and long term demand planning for the portfolio, enabling achievement of growth objectives while optimizing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilitiies: 61 Provide leadership to drive NPD and HOPPER pipeline development and execution; NPD initials development or "fail fast to forward" decisions to customer meetings. 61 In-line offer management to meet margin and share protection while always looking for portfolio optimization by “sunsetting” obstacle variant;Provide 9-step or A3 analysis on gaps clearly articulating root cause and corrective measures 61 Act as CPAC champion for product support, tech seminar and efficient communication with factories 61 Hunting and evaluating segment with high priority; propose entry or phase out suggestions to the executive teams with solid/logical data behind 61 Developing MGPP plan per the segment choices; Rolling updates per the latest mkt environment relating segments 61 Product GTM proposal with long term and short term milestone design in place; CVP development 61 Act as product training champion, nurturing the understanding level of value selling from commercial team 61 NPD launch kit frame owner; influence cross-function team members to deliver plug-play launch kit when NPD passes it DP3 check point 61 Act as voice of end user and clearly articulate requirements; Develop and champion the portfolio strategy and growth priorities, and ensure alignment to strategy and priorities across the value stream 61 implement pricing strategies and programs to meet and exceed price, volume and share targets 61 Support Line Manager’s potential M&A efforts to develop strategic partnerships with companies that can fill significant product and capability gaps, including build/borrow/buy option evaluation.
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor degree or above in technical/engineering or equivalent education; 61 Minimum 5 years of product management relevant experience; 61 Strong communication skills, be able to handle communication with manufacturing, sales, marketing and customers as needed to support ongoing development and sales. 61 Good oral and written English. 61 Willing to travel.
