Main Purpose of the Job:
Leads product development projects, coordinates and performs activities during the development from project kick-off up to handover to production plant to meet ALPLA interests and customer requirements. (Project category 1-
3)

Main Responsibilities:

Product Development:
-Clarifies and aligns product specifications and requirements with the customer/supplier and the technical product development team.
-Identifies and resolves technical issues and risks to achieve project goals by considering the whole process chain (test and downstream equipment, machine accessories, format parts).
-Specifies product design, mould and sampling requirements (in PDS).
-Plans, participates and reviews samplings and mould qualifications under technical and economical aspects.

Project Management:
-Leads and takes ownership on product development projects, coordinates and performs activities from project initiation until project close-out.
-Develops adequate project plans for managing the project objectives, scope, schedule, resources, budgets.
-Secures production approval and project closing.
-Communicates effectively within the project organisation.





Educational /Experience:
-Completed technical education or equivalent experience in related fields
-Product Development Experience (category 1 + 2) for 3+ years within Alpla Product Development or in comparable industries
