YOUR ROLE: The Business Development Director supervises sales activities in China. His / her key role is to develop Company sales activity in the area by prospecting, creating leads, converting new customers or increasing market share with existing customers, which have not yet reached maturity. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development strategy 61 Define together with the SVP of BD sales and development strategies for China market (revenue target, split by region, by segments...) 61 Segments and companies to approach. 61 Identify right channels of exposure. 61 Identify fairs and events to attend to maximise exposure and increase brand recognition. 61 Identify right solutions for prospect, lead and conversion generation. Sales development 61 Targets identification in China market. 61 Create fit to win go-to-market strategies for respective customer segments & categories. 61 Active new customer mapping, penetration at multiple levels and acquisition. 61 Expansion of service portfolio at established customers. 61 Create and maintain prospects data base. 61 Create, lead and coach the team. Prospection 61 Identify contacts, establish connections, organize & lead meetings. 61 Pre-sales preparation, identification of target (turnover, organization, segment, constraints, SWOT, etc.) 61 Sales concept creation and adaptation for customer profile and business opportunity. 61 Commercial proposal creation, negotiation, close. Strategic Key account management 61 Maintain and up-sell Top 10 strategic customers (track customers’ satisfaction, regular visits, top-to-top engagement, etc.) 61 Minimum quarterly visits to VIP accounts. 61 Development new market shares (increase volumes of business, new services, new locations) Representation 61 Represent the Company during trade fairs, events 61 Represent the Company at professional associations 61 Contribute to Company’s brand exposure 61 Co-create with the management team fit to win sales and marketing tools and commercial solutions for China market. YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 61 University degree in business management or relevant discipline 61 Proficient level of English – both spoken and written 61 Min. 5 years of national and/or international sales experience 61 Proven track record of new business development and customer acquisition 61 Commercial background in service industry 61 Knowledge in quality management control a plus, but not obligatory 61 Self-driven, proactive sales leader with winning mentality and high ambition to succeed 61 Excellent negotiator, mastering sales and communication technics 61 Pragmatic and practical business leader, high sense of organization & methodology 61 Strong analytical and data skills 61 Persuasive communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills 61 Tech/IT savvy.
