-Accountable for project execution, lead project execution team to manage and execute projects to ensure planned KPIs (on-time delivery, cost levels, margin level and quality objectives) are met.
-Co-ordinate teams from across business e.g. Sales, RDE, AE, Manufacturing Plant to delivery excellent customer experience and support Xylem China revenue and EBITA Growth. B) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance.
Project Execution -Ensure safety regulations are adhered to and maintain ESH compliance and culture compliance -Develop and implement project execution policies and procedures to maximize output. -Lead communication with customer after project kick off. -Monitor and secure high-quality delivery of project: o On-time delivery and precise scope of delivery o Coordinate and responsible for documents submission to the customer o Communicate with qualified suppliers on out-sourcing products and service inquiry, negotiation, specification and commercial terms checking. o Project progress monitoring and sales forecast feedback to operation team o Coordinate the on-site installation and commissioning services o Facilitate customer acceptance test and make sure smooth handover -Monitor /Control risks, manage changes in project according to process -Secure the seamless co-operations among all internal and external suppliers, all partners for the project -Stock planning for specific material based on front-end sales opportunities funnel
Project Margin Control and Monitoring -Review the project margin analysis report before the project execution. Closely monitor the margin change trend during the execution. -Responsible for cost control of the project, such as out-sourcing, administration, service etc. -Coordinate progressive invoicing of the large project with financial department, sales and customer. -Work together with sales and credit control department for cash collection.
Project Reporting and Filing -Communicate progress timely towards stakeholders -Issue weekly, monthly project progress report, including delivery status, cost and margin development, documents submission, sales and invoicing forecasting, etc. -Maintain the updated complete project filing system. All documents, including but not limited, technical, commercial, commissioning, service, etc. should be properly and timely filed.
Continuous Improvement -Drive continuous improvement of project management process within the team .
Part 2. Describe the Person A) Relative experience, educational background and skills desired.
-Bachelor degree in Process or Mechanical or Water & Wastewater Treatment Project Management. -Minimum 6-8 years hands on project /program management or contract execution in industrial products. -Excellent communication skills &fluent in English -PMP certified preferred -Computer skill (MS office, MS project etc )
