Key Job Areas of Responsibilities Accounting responsibilities - Monitor and support whole accounting cycle running smoothly and deliver accurate result on time; - Prepare month end and year end accounting closing within the deadline in align with Garrett accounting guidelines - Lead monthly account reconciliation review and drive effective follow up actions with different stakeholders - Maintain strong relationship with external stakeholder including but not limited to local tax bureau, SAFE, bank etc. - Standard Costing maintenance in SAP - Lead all statistics accounting and reporting related activities for Shanghai. - Provide finance support for governmental subsidy projects. - perform TP analysis on a quarterly basis and coordinate with global TP team - Ad hoc task assigned Financial reporting responsibilities - Responsible for preparing Shanghai Plant PRC financial statements including balance sheet, P/L and cash flow reports. - Support APAC Controller and Accounting Manager on coordination with external auditor for statutory reporting. - Responsible for monthly and quarterly closing reports per global controllership request. - Timely capture and report risk& opportunity items to avoid financial surprise. - Support SOX implementation and ongoing process for Shanghai - Support APAC Controller in performing and coordinating local and global initiatives and ad-hoc tasks
Education / Qualifications Minimum requirements required for employee to do the job" Bachelor degree required. Accounting and Finance background. CPA preferred.
Experience At least 8 years of directly related accounting/finance experience, manufactory working experience mandatory and costing experience preferred
Key Skills and Knowledge Sound understanding of financial and statutory compliance: GAAP, SOX, other local accounting and tax regulations Capabilities to work under pressure and good team player. Good interpersonal skill, mature and flexible Self-motivation and compliance mindset ERP system experience, hands on SAP exposure as mandatory as well as strong Microsoft Office skill
