-Processing project and general cargo related inquires and tender requests, ITB, RFI, RFQ -Obtaining and evaluating offers for land and sea transport including related handling activities (LCL, FCL, RoRo, Break Bulk, LTL, FTL, oversized transport) -Tender planning and development of tender strategies in cooperation with the sales and project teams -Preparing technical and commercial bid documentation -Supporting the sales and project team in the bid presentation and negotiation process -Preparing RFI/RFQ for subcontractor services according to project/inquiry specifications -Reviewing contract terms and conditions, including the necessary administrative activities -Identifying, describing and assessing risks that can harm project participants, and proposing measures to avoid or limit them -Negotiating with subcontractors and optimizing the buying process
2.Qualifications:
-Commercial and operational experience in General Cargo, Break Bulk, Oversized and Heavy Lift shipments (multi-modal) -Your successfully completed studies or apprenticeship/trainee with a focus on logistics or trade and economics -Ideally, experience in pricing and tender management -Motivation to work in an internationally operating company and already have experience in working with other countries and cultures -Ability to prioritize, plan and control/monitor given tasks on a daily basis with a medium-term focus -Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment, while remaining focused under pressure -Team player personality and strong hands-on mentality -Very good command of English, enabling you to quickly find your way around the international arena
