Job Description The Transformer Drafting Engineer is responsible for editing, updating, and managing technical drawings of transformers to ensure accuracy, compliance with design specifications, and alignment with project requirements. This role requires foundational knowledge of electrical engineering, proficiency in CAD software, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: 61 Drawing Creation and Update: Use CAD software (such as AutoCAD ) to edit and update detailed technical drawings of transformers, including electrical schematics, mechanical layout drawings, and nameplate diagrams. 61 Drawing Review: Participate in the review and proofreading of drawings to ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards as well as project technical requirements. Assist in developing and maintaining drawing standards and guidelines. 61 Document Management: Manage the archiving and version control of drawings and technical documents to ensure the traceability and accessibility of all drawings. 61 Collaboration with Supplier Teams: Work closely with supplier teams to quickly obtain drawings that meet company requirements. 61 Technical Support: Provide technical support to the operations team, answering questions related to transformer drawings to ensure the smooth progress of projects. 61 Training and Mentoring: Train and guide new employees, interns, or third-party personnel when necessary, helping them to become familiar with transformer drawings and standards. 61 RFQ Assistance: Assist with RFQ (Request for Quotation) communication based on RFQs provided by the U.S. team and offer technical support as needed. Qualifications: 61 Degree or work experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 61 Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD) for creating technical drawings. 61 Understanding of transformer design principles and industry standards. 61 Strong skills in drawing review and attention to detail. 61 Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings and specifications. 61 Good communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with the operations team and supplier teams. 61 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 61 Relevant work experience is preferred. 61 50 Hours per week 61 Office location of Shanghai, China Work Environment: 61 Primarily office-based, working with computers and design software. 61 Requires on-site communication with supplier teams. 61 Need to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines at different stages of the project.
