该岗位为船代,非货代。 Main responsibilities 61 Attend and board vessels as required and as directed by respective Manager, in accordance with our SOP and Customer Requirements. 61 Responsible for the effective coordination of assigned port calls. 61 Advice on selection of contractors for goods and services provided to principals, including submission of competitive quotations, as required. 61 Ensure compliance with Port Services processes, standards and procedures, including correct use of the operating system (WASP). 61 Ensure mandatory use of WASP as reporting tool in compliance with the SOP. 61 Ensure proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any follow up enquiries. 61 Ensure correct amount of pre-funding are received or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation, prior to performing the Port Call. Same to be ensured when additional funding required prior vessel’s sailing. 61 Establish and maintain vessel’s files and ensure that all transactional systems are updated real time. 61 Ensure proactive, efficient and timely communication at all times. 61 Report leads, business opportunities and relevant port updates observed to Manager. 61 Monitor and record expenses that arises during vessels’ port call. 61 Ensure Cash-in-Transit (Cash to Master) as per WPS procedure. 61 Proactively follow up, check and approve supplier’s invoices. 61 Ensure cost effectively Vessel Operations. 61 Attending vessel loading/discharging-help Master to settle problem occurred on the spot and providing professional marine consultation services concerned in time. 61 Replying technical enquiry of cargo handling operation on port and constantly reporting loading/discharging situations to Principals and our Coordinators. 61 Coordinating with port authorities/local agents for arranging vessels line up schedules on behalf of principals. 61 Discussing with Operation Manager/Coordinator on foreseen difficulties and advising technical solution in order to ensure efficient completion. 61 Interacting with port authorities/agents/parties concerned to maintain good working relationship and communication. 61 Comply with WPS PPE Standard when working in ports/onboard vessels. 61 QHSSE matters in own function – use of TAKE 5 as appropriate. 61 Provide input to improve the operational and cost efficiency of the port call
Qualifications 61 College degree above, Maritime background and experience from Ships Agency Operations. 61 Good communication skills and command of the in English language (oral and written). 61 Process and system understanding. 61 Self-motivated and result orientated. 61 Proactive and possesses ability to anticipate issue to facilitate preventive measures. 61 Ability to work under pressure. 61 Problem solving skills with ability to make fast and sound judgement. 61 Ability to effectively plan & direct an operation without compromising on safety to personnel and vessel. 61 Good motivator and team leadership skills. 61 Familiar with Port & local Authorities regulations, procedures and governing tariffs.
