1. Be responsible for innovation detailed technical design, engineering specification creation and maintenance.
2. Be responsible for benchmark, prototype during innovation development.
3. Plan and manage validation activities, organize test work packages by issuing work order to the laboratory.
4. Release and maintain the design into the data management system.
5. Owner and maintainer of development cost, design and DFMEA, IP etc.
6. Work as technology owner in global SME (Subject Matter Expert) network.
7. Provide necessary technical date and market insight in his/her expertise sphere to ensure innovation project establishment.
8. Serve as key player of iCTM in an innovation project, partially coordinate iCTM and iETM resources to ensure innovation development running smoothly.
9. Support iPM for innovation program development management. Partially assume iPM role in some cases when iPM is not confirmed.
10. Follow innovation development procedure and process (including some flexible innovation processes), ensure all technical deliverables accomplished on time.
11. Follow other tasks assigned by line manager.REQUIRED EDUCATION BACKGROUND,
KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
1. Master degree in mechanical engineering, thermal management, etc.
2. Must possess a mindset and initiative to be a good researcher, and be willing to dedicate themselves to the development of new technologies based on innovative ideas;
3. More than 3 years’ experience in automotive product engineering, powertrain, heat exchange, thermal management, intake and exhaust systems experience preferred;
4. Proactive, positive, optimistic, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility and concerned about details;
5. Knowledge of air conditioner, plastic components, combustion engine, electronics, and NVH is an advantage;
6. Works well with cross functional teams and must be a good team player with a spirit of team collaboration;
7. Good English reading, writing, and communication skills.
