PRIMARY PURPOSE: 1) To drive & manage & grow the assigned accounts profitably and develop new opportunity with big potential. 2) To promote and expand Molex’s core automotive products/capabilities to SAIC-GM and associated Tier 1’s in China region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Achieve revenue and profit objectives, Win the MUST WINS program. 61 Establish and drive strategy review sessions with direct and indirect teams. 61 Drive profitable revenue/execution across <SAIC-GM> global customer base. 61 Measure end revenue/profit results against competition/market. 2) Collaboration with Global GM team to develop and maintain the sales strategy that aligned with target/BU. 61 Segment review with team growth plan and align strategies KPI/Target/Budget. 61 Synchronize the development progress of projects globally and locally. 61 Execute and implement the program to local. 3) Explore new opportunities and promote Molex products. 61 Focus on design-in effort, collaborate with the Business Unit and Account teams to develop opportunities into profitable design wins for Molex. 61 Deeply study and understand customer sales strategy, technology trend, product roadmap, etc. and formulate the appropriate business plan with sales strategy. 61 Gather the information of the industry and the competitors, and review with Business Unit and Account teams to develop new product 4) Outward "Customer Focus" increase and continued inward "Customer" development 61 To manage customer expectations of NPI and ensure product samples, supporting design and product verification activities are delivered to customers in agreed and expected timeframes. 61 Identify the key persons and develop a network of contacts within the customer organization from Engineering, Project Management, R&D, Procurement, etc. 5) Deploy PBM philosophy and practices in daily interaction 61 Deploy entrepreneurship and mutual benefit philosophy. 61 Employ value selling skill problem-solving with new connector or solutions to these issues. 61 Communicate clearly and effectively in a timely manner to both external and internal contacts.
SCOPE: 61 Role will sales executives with solution selling into SGM account base
EDUCATION: REQUIRED: 61 Bachelor's degree PREFERRED: 61 Bachelor’s degree or advanced, in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical)
WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: 61 +5 years relevant sales & engineering (mechanical or electrical) experience at an OEM or automotive tier supplier. PREFERRED: 61 Understanding of vehicle connection systems and architecture. Especially, SDV/SOA/Zonal architecture, In-vehicle high speed connection and related TSN/SI/EMC theory. 61 Experience with OEM or Tier 1 as a sales, product/design engineer or resident engineer within the automotive/transportation industry.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED: 61 Fluent (spoken and written) English and Mandarin. 61 Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders 61 Excellent team player 61 Detailed in problem solving and analysis. PREFERRED: 61 Work proactively and self-motivation, with great desire to win. 61 Very organized and good follow up and work in order under multi-tasks. 61 Solid understanding of automotive connectors, cable assemblies, antenna and modules OTHER: 61 Be able to work autonomously with great accountability in customer locations
