Responsibilities: -Procurement and Product Integration: Support the development of a new mountain bike segment through the procurement and integration of shock absorber and fork components. -Supplier Management: Identify, select, and build relationships with suppliers to establish an efficient and cost-effective supply chain in China. -Cost Optimization: Collaborate with cost engineers to develop and implement cost-efficient design and procurement strategies. -Market Analysis: Analyze the market and identify trends to determine optimal sourcing opportunities and suppliers. -Knowledge Transfer: Bring technical expertise into the procurement process to ensure that the purchased components meet high-quality standards. -Project Management: Ensure the timely delivery of all required parts and components in collaboration with internal departments.
Requirements: -Experience: At least 5 years of experience in purchasing technical components, preferably in the area of mountain bike shock absorbers and forks. -Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of mechanical components and their production. -Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in negotiations and contract management with international suppliers. -Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of international sourcing markets and market needs within the bicycle industry. -Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. -Language Skills: Proficiency in English; Mandarin skills are an advantage. -Personality: High level of self-responsibility, assertiveness, and flexibility.
