Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governance and Master Data
Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
implementing data policies, processes, and governance models, improving core
system master data functionality, driving data quality improvements, and
deliver-ing data portals and management tools. This role requires a strong
understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, metadata
management, and regulatory compliance, with a particu-lar emphasis on SAP MDG
and ERP systems.

Requirements
Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related
technical field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in data governance,
master data manage-ment, or a related role and 6+ years experience in data
- Proven track record of successfully implementing data governance frameworks
or improving data quality.
- Familiarity with SAP MDG, SAP Material Master Data and related processes.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to
non-technical stakehold-ers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or certifications in data governance, SAP systems, or
related disciplines.
- Experience supporting digital transformation projects with a focus on data
management
- Know-How in reading ABAP Coding

Job Description
Main Tasks
- Implement global data governance policies, models, and standards with China
local adaptive.
- Facilitate the improvement of local data quality with data owners and data
stewards.
- Integrate and optimize data governance and master data process in China
under global framework.
- Act as a point of contact for data governance and master data related
inquires in China.
- Deliver data management tools i.e. data catalog and data quality in China.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of master data related system
functionalities in MDG, ERPm CRM etc. by collecting and coordinating local
requirements.
- Support master data migration during system upgrades or transitions
projects.
