Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct FEA of Strength & Deformation simulation projects, for static strength, thermal stress, fatigue life, and crack growth in various processing chambers (Etch, CVD, EPI, and MOCVD, etc.) 2. Analyze the simulation results, and document with the useful findings that will guide the optimization of product design and problem solving. 3. Proactively study and research the phsical charateristic and mechanical behavior of different materials, such as metal, quartz, ceramic, refractory metal and etc. 4. Work with CFD Engineer to complete the thermal stress analysis and build a reliable model for AMEC's products. 5. Work with mechanical/process engineers to understand their issues, and explain the simulation findings and recommendation for improvement. Key Requirements: 1. Master in Mechanics, Mechanical / Energy& Power or related field, with FEA experiences using commercial software, such as ANSYS/Mechanical, etc. 2. Solid knowledge in elastic-plastic mechanics and fatigue damage theory. Familiar with linear elastic fracture mechanics and fatigue crack growth theory.
