Established in September 1993, Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai (SSLS) was jointly invested by Siemens AG and Shanghai Electric Company and is now subordinate to the leadership of Siemens SI EA business unit.
SSLS is located in Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 5 hectares. It is committed to the design, production, sales, and after-sales service of 6-40.5kV medium voltage air insulated switchgears. Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai has nearly 500 employees and produces over 38000 vacuum circuit breakers and 12000 medium voltage switchgears annually. The medium voltage switch products produced here have been widely used in industrial fields such as power supply, oil and gas, ships, automobiles, metallurgy and mining, electronics and electrical engineering in China, as well as in infrastructure fields such as airports, hospitals, buildings, data centers, and transportation.
You’ll make an impact by
* Responsible for material management, including MRP strategy definition and optimization, inventory control, annual physical inventory for subcontracting stock, handling of obsolete items, materials phase in and phase out because of design modifications, stock preparing for urgent projects, major projects, and regular materials based on forecasts and history usage. * Internal and external communication and coordination: including suppliers, other teams within the department, other relevant departments within the company, GBS related, HQ related * Convert PR to PO, if any question about the ECC, sourcing and price must inform ECC officer/SP colleague/OM dept and group leader until the problem is solved. * Send PO/related documents in time after PO approved. Request supplier to confirm the PO within 2 days(local)/5 days(import) after PO released (send "AB" confirmation via EDI/RPA/email. For email confirmation need to be inputted to SAP manually). If the delivery date confirmed by supplier cannot meet the request, start the escalate process. * Double confirm 1 week before the PO requested delivery date with supplier and ask for the delivery note for ASN upload of WMS system and LA confirmation control key in SAP. * Use MD06 to check the stock aging every day. Every Wednesday rescheduling according to the MRP exception and ask the vendor to reconfirm the delivery date and change the information in SAP. * Provide missing parts feedback. * Valuation of SDR/SDC, share the delivery risk to SP and find the solution for risk vendor together. * Responsible for MM related digital automation projects. * Perform other tasks / responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

* Bachelor’s degree or above, major in logistics, trade, supply Chain, data analysis. * with procurement knowledge and commercial knowledge. * Can work in an intercultural environment, excellent cross departmental collaboration ability. * Be able to use SAP and skilled Microsoft office application, BI tool is better. * The ability to control risks in advance.
