Cloud Services Engineer will be part of a global cloud engineering team focused on engineering of AWS China platform where application teams will build their apps. As member of the cloud team, Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for: 61 Partner with Technical Teams to architect highly available, compliant, and scalable cloud foundation architectures 61 Interact with Technical Teams for project consulting, design reviews, and technical guidance. 61 Partner with existing global IT team to integrate and expand existing enterprise capabilities into cloud architectures. 61 Actively participate in promoting best practices through community of practice and learning session 61 Engineering and Management of AWS China platform to stay current with internal policies & procedure and advancement of the platform to support current & emerging business needs 61 Enabling new cloud native services through a service onboarding process including security & operational standards 61 Implement automation that eliminate repetitive tasks 61 Driving infrastructure as code and configuration management 61 Developing and maintain SDLC documentation for the platform and its capabilities 61 Actively participating in promoting best practices through community of practice and learning sessions
Education Minimum Requirement: 61 B.S. in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field a plus 62 Required Experience and Skills: 61 5+ years of experience in IT field. 61 Min 2 years’ experience supporting AWS China Cloud Platform 61 Experience with AWS landing zone, architecture and service enablement, Cloud platform development enablement, Cloud finance management, etc. 61 Experience with service configuration management, deployment and continuous integration tools, such as Ansible, Jenkins, ARM, Terraform, and CloudFormation62 61 Proficient in networking, operating system fundamentals (Windows and Linux), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.)62 61 Strong written and verbal communication skills 61 Experience working in a global team environment 61 AWS Certification
Preferred Experience and Skills: 61 Experience with development and light-weight applications, scripts, and services 61 Code Development skills with PowerShell or62Python62 61 Experience in SDLC documentation within a regulated industry 61 Proficiency with a variety of programming, scripting, and configuration languages such as Python, JavaScript, CloudFormation
