The Sales Director would drive the APAC business and manage the sales function in achieving the sales plan through effective planning and execution in the respective geographies. They would maintain effective relationships with airlines, travel agents, and present the company. Internal functions like Products, Account Management and Support functions to ensure seamless customer service and sales growth.
Job description: 1.Accountable for managing & negotiating various global, regional and local commercial agreements with key airline partners and travel agents with responsibility for implementing initiatives and strategies to drive commercial effectiveness in the APAC markets in accordance with company strategy and policy and account management. 2.Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and potential business partners; which includes representing Travelfusion at all airline and industry events in the APAC markets. 3.Analyse complex data and use insights to drive revenue generating/share shifting actions for the flights line of business. 4.Provide analyses of competitive environments and identify proactive sales and commercial initiatives accordingly. 5.Establish effective networking partnerships between new and existing contacts to support the development and implementation of innovative commercial business opportunities. 6.Responsibility for working with various internal stakeholders including but not limited to product, technical and operation teams.
Qualifications and Skills: 1.Bachelor degree or above, above 7 years of senior commercial experience within an airline distribution, agency or GDS background. 2.Must be familiar with IATA NDC schema business requirements and influence adoption of NDC. 3.Consistent and proven track record in successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth. 4.Self-starter mentality, intrinsically motivated and comfortable blazing a completely new path and defining innovative solutions for our airlines partners and travel agencies. 5.Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, must be able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions. 6.Proven and demonstrated experience with leading and closing commercial negotiations. 7.Proven experience managing and building airline and client relationships and growing business. 8.Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners. 9.Excellent presentation and communication skills. 10.Willingness to travel across the APAC region. 11.Have a global mindset; Strong interpersonal skills - able to collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders with various cultural backgrounds. 12.Proficient spoken and written English is a must.
