The SW Engineer (Pre- and Post Sales) is responsible for driving sales revenue and achieving targets in automotive tool software segment. This role focuses on managing sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities. The candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently without a direct team.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned territory or market segment. 2. Identify, evaluate, and close new sales opportunities within the industrial software or automotive tool software industry. 3. Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up. 4. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs. 5. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to ensure favorable outcomes for both parties. 6. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, marketing, and support to ensure a seamless sales process. 7. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data to senior management. 8. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and explore new business opportunities.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or above. 2. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial software or automotive tool software, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. 3. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to use it as the primary work language. 4. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders. 5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively. 6. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 7. Familiarity with sales tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, for managing sales processes and customer data. 8. Willingness to travel periodically to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience working with global customers or in a multinational environment. 2. Knowledge of current trends and advancements in automotive tool software. 3. Previous experience in managing complex sales cycles and large-scale projects.
