About the role As a Field Supplier Development Manager at Future Electronics, you will achieve optimum Sales revenue and profitability for a given focus Supplier line by driving overall sales, marketing and demand creation activities, thus contributing to the growth of the overall company’s sales revenue and market share on a given regional level (Central China & North China). Reporting into the Strategic Supplier Manager and working in conjunction with all relevant parties (internal & external), the Regional Supplier Development Manager drives and implement strategies as set forth by the Strategic Supplier Manager towards achieving set objectives. The Regional Supplier Development Manager manages the Supplier’s expectations and enhance working relationship at all levels to gain support and partnership on a given regional level (Central China & North China).
What you’ll be working on To achieve set revenue budgets with the supplier. o Pricing negotiation with supplier to close opportunities. o Assist in transfer business capture and getting business protection from supplier. o Assist Sales in Elite / *** / Focus customers' penetration and development. o Assist in Stranded and Excess depletion. (work with Sales or return programs with Suppliers) o Drive associative sales for focus suppliers to maximize the opportunities. To drive BIZ & demand creation activity by line. o Arrange and conduct product training to Sales and AEG. o Knowledge and information transfer to Sales and AEG as to equip them to sell effectively. Such as Product/Application, Competition, supply conditions, etc. o Conduct Marcom activities (Seminar / Workshop / Customer Day / Joint visits / Leads management) o Follow up and support key/major DC projects. Focus on conversion to win. o Focus customers' selection / assignment / penetration / development. o Drive associative sales for focus suppliers to maximize the opportunities. To build multi-level relationship with the supplier. o Co-ordinate quarterly business review with supplier to be hosted by Sales people. o Establish Key Relationship Matrix and enhance communication between key contacts in related function. o Organize Team building activities. To maximize supplier's share internally and at market place. o Explore customer DTAM spend analysis and work with suppliers where neither them or ourselves has the biz. o Drive Elite / *** profitable development with Supplier with win-win programs or agreements.
We’re looking for someone with University degree. Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in the electronics industry with particular emphasis on knowledge of Suppliers and Components Distribution business in the regional market place. To have a solid understanding of the sales and marketing strategies for Future Electronics regional. Proactive, organized and multi-tasking achiever. Excellent verbal and written communicator and presenter. Incorporates other departments’ demands as required into daily activities. Demonstrates versatility and flexibility in approach to work. Demonstrates integrity, fairness and honesty. Committed to maintaining high quality standard of work. Develops a network through regional levels of the organization and with the Supplier. Ability to enlist the help of key people to build support for ideas/concepts. Knows market share and understands how to increase market penetration. Continually maintains technical and business knowledge.
It’d be great if you have Result oriented and links initiatives/actions to corporate goals/objectives. Collates relevant information to strategically exploit new business opportunities. Influences, convinces or impresses others in a way that results in acceptance. Knows strengths and weaknesses of the Supplier and hence tactical approach in order to be in a strong position.
