Mission Your mission is to ensures qualified and continuously optimized supplier base with good Cost, Quality and Delivery performance in alignment with internal stakeholders. Establish and improve ICA Material Groups strategics for assigned commodities. To perform material group management with focus on supplier searching, selection, qualification, evaluation, innovation and phase-out.
Major Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 61 Conduct and develop new supplier approval & qualification with internal stakeholders. 61 Conduct parts & services qualification for production and NPI development 61 Material group strategy build up include such as Analyze internal facts & figures, define strategy per material group like make-or-buy and outsourcing decisions. 61 Cost Value Analysis to make transparent commercial terms. 61 Owns overall supplier relationships and supplier development (in alignment with Supplier Quality & Project Purchasing), including supplier portfolio, Supplier competence analysis, Supplier classification, Supplier capability optimization and etc. 61 Implement annual supplier negotiation include plan & target (LDO&MDO) setup, prepare levers, negotiation strategy define/simulate/execution. 61 Perform supplier audit include new suppliers audit and incumbent suppliers’ annual audit. 61 Appraise periodic supplier Performance for responsible commodities or products. 61 Contracts frame agreements, price conditions, price lists, logistic agreements, and etc. 61 Coordinate with engineering to perform design to cost activities to make continuous supplier base and cost optimization. 61 Take part to the standardization (parts/raw material) with engineering’s and by means of challenging Engineering and reviewing with qualified suppliers to help design optimization. 61 Resolve escalated Quality, Cost, Delivery topics. 61 Support global commodity activities such as local for global projects. 61 Support in supplier definition, sample release and ECN execution for NPI development 61 Accept 30% business trip or above. 61 Other appointed tasks from Purchasing Manager.
Education & Experience 61 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical background or supply chain management 61 At least 5 years’ experience on Sourcing/Strategic purchasing experience and a proven track record, SQE experience is a plus. 61 Experience of production process of specific commodities 61 Experience of supplier relationship and quality management 61 Experience of working within an international matrix-organization and adapt easily to different cultures.
Knowledge & Skills 61 Skilled negotiating and communication at all levels. 61 Technical background during education or previous working 61 Basic Finance analytical skills and legal terms understanding 61 ERP knowledge in MM module 61 Knowledge of supplier management in Quality/Cost/Delivery 61 Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 61 Fluent (spoken & written) in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
