Members of the SNB External Counsel Panel support our Asia team on selected projects and assignments on a free-lance basis. This is an opportunity for experienced legal practitioners from China working on a flexible case-by-case basis, compatible with other roles, but still being connected to our teams in Asia and in Hamburg, Germany. Work will be done on the basis of a service agreement.
It will be an advantage if you are based in Shanghai, but remote work is also possible.
We are looking for specialists for the following practice areas:
- Corporate law (Foreign direct investment, Joint Venture, M & A, Restructuring, Employment)
- Tax law, customs law and foreign exchange regulations
- Patent law
- Food law, healthcare law, chemicals and pharmaceuticals
The general requirements for external counsel in our team are:
- At least 5 years of professional working and advisory experience in the area of specialization
- Bar qualification will be a plus (P.R. China)
- Full proficiency in legal English
