Primary Purpose of the Position
The Regional Accounting Expert will report directly to the Senior Operational Finance Manager for the APAC region and will be responsible for financial closing and reporting across 2-3 countries. This role is also expected to lead initiatives aimed at digitalization and automation within APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
In accordance with global accounting guidelines, ensure that financial reports are completed in a timely manner.
Oversee and finalize the general ledger and being responsible for fixed asset management.
Manage account reconciliations to ensure there are no material misstatements. Responsible for COA management.
Collaborate with management to prepare ad hoc financial reports / Analysis reports as required.
Support both internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.

Digitalization and Automation
To optimize and automate the team's daily work processes, as well as enhance financial reporting through the implementation of RPA tools.
To improve data analysis capabilities within the team by using Power BI, Excel, and various programming tools.

Process and Projects
Improve process in all accounting function and drive driving standardization.
Lead projects including global project implementation in APAC, standardization solution across APAC entities, system automation implementation.
Other tasks assigned by manager

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above.
3 years’ experience in finance with 1 year experience in GL and reporting.
Knowledge in Power BI, SQL, any RPA tools experience (eg Power Automate) or any other language for automation.
Good English skill can write and communication in English.
