MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To provide accounting services according to the Service Level Agreement for countries in Asia Pacific and Great China regions.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Handle daily accounting services according to SLA. Depends on the accounting roles assigned, the tasks including: -Accounts Payable invoice process and payment -Employee travel expense audit and payment -Accounts Receivable cash application and AR clearing -Price maintenance -General Ledger and Intercompany entry posting and month end closing -Managing accounting related service request and handle ad-hoc issues as required -Provides immediate attention to queries and follow-up with appropriate resolution -Liaises with internal departments for effective solutions to problem resolution -Provide periodic reports to local accounting team for their statutory / business requirement -Provide KPI reports to internal customer (e.g. local country finance) -Documents process manual and work instruction manual -Participate in improvement project discussion and execution -Backup other team members when needed -Ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager
REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
-Bachelor degree with accounting / finance focus -Professional qualification in finance (or under study) will be highly preferred (e.g. CPA, CIMA, ACCA…) -SAP application knowledge and experience -Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
-Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with a particular strength in English. Japanese, Korean, Thai will be an advantage. -Able to work independently but also a good team player to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships -“Can do” attitude and strong execution focus with the ability to work to tight timeline -Willing to take additional work load and learn new skills -Good interpersonal skills and personality
